Today was Sunday so we decided to make it a day of rest (from sightseeing). Jim went to Mass at the
Duomo next door to our hotel, but Sherry and I slept in a little longer. After breakfast we headed to a sister hotel of ours in the country (less than 10 min. away) and spent the better part of the day lounging by the pool there. The pool was in a wonderfully secluded spot in the woods and the weather was perfect. Met some folks from Israel
and from London. The girl from London had previously lived in Calgary for three years and had been to WEM several times. Small world! Stopped for wine tasting on the way home, then had wine and cheese on our terrace, followed by a late dinner out. Late for us -- Italians typically eat dinner after 8:00 pm. Restaurants don't even open until 7:30.
