The boys first match in Malacca was against diffcult opposition who won the game 4-1, but the effort from the boys was tremednous. The score could have been closer had we not missed two open goals. The girls faired better winning 2-1 in another thrilling match. The result should have been 3-1 when a ball hit outside the D hit the gk and went in. Under the new rules it should have been a own goal!! Rachel Johnson remonstrated with the umpires till he reached for his pocket, when she wisley retreated. Tilly Lamberts scored with a deflection from a well executed short corner. Rachel Johnson scored the other goal.
