Off to Wellington today...a longish drive, but beautiful weather. Stopped at a town on the way down called Bulls, not much going on there, but it was quite interesting how they used the name of the town in everything. Bank-a-bull, a bakery called Ed-i-bull, Pharmacy called Cure-a-bull...you get the picture.

Wellington is a great city, can see why people would live here. At this point on the trip our original group of 30 had dwindled down to only six of us going to the south island, I hope we pick up more because most the ones that are left of either A) a bit weird or B) just boring.

In Wellington we went to Te-Papa, which is the national museum of New Zealand. Then out for dinner with friends we were saying bye to in Wellington, then on to a Welsh bar for our two Welsh friends. Was a slightly weird pub, looked a bit like a public toilet from the outside.
