Today I had a new Stray driver which was a little weird after having Salty for all this time and also had a full bus of totally new people for the last two days of my trip.

The drive today was beautiful over the Lindis Pass, past lake Pukaki which had beautiful blue water.

We arrived at our hostel at the base of Mount Cook, the weather was amazing today so the scenery was stunning. We did a four hour walk through Hooker pass right to the base of Mount Cook. There were many icebergs, glaciers and we had to cross two big suspension bridges. It was an amazing walk and I have to say was the highlight of New Zealand for me!! Maybe because I also felt loads better now.

Tonight was chilled as there was not much to do at the alpine lodge hostel and it was very isolated.
