Hels' Adventures
After the caves we went to a so called 'Authentically' traditional Maori night. I was a little dissapointed with the venue, I expected a traditional Maori meeting house, but instead it looked a bit like a village hall. It was good to see Maori's performing the Hakka and they taught the boys in our group the Hakka too which was hilarious. For the girls, we learnt how to do the Poi, which is basically stones in a bag and you dance with them...weird!!
After all this fun, we went to the beach and lit a huge bonfire and sat around drinking and a girl from our bus was playing the guitar. It was really chilled out.
Tonight we had to sleep in the meeting house in one room on dusty mattresses on the floor.
