The Guggenheim Museum is the jewel in the city of Bilbao's crown. The building designed by American architect Frank Gehry is a mind-boggling array of limestone and 30,000 sheets of titanium. It seems to be inspired by a silvery fish...and also evokes images of wind-filled sails!!
We spent the whole day there in awe of the building itself and the art work on display.
