What a trip we had!! Spain was everything we hoped for. We set out with a challenging itinerary and we did it all! What a diverse country full of history and wonderful people! If you have not travelled there you are missing out on a truly great experience!

Our apartment in Barceloneta near the beach and within walking distance of La Rambla a wonderful area full of shops, street entertainers and a huge market. You could spend the day just "people watching"!!!

Helen & Maureen flew from Victoria changing planes in Toronto, meeting up with Barbara, and the three of us flew on to Barcelona. We took the train north to Girona where we will catch a flight tomorrow to Malta for 4 days.
