Woke early 6.30. Hot already !!!
Called Connor and Dana it's 8.30pm over there. Had a lovely chat it's going to be hard not talking to them when we are at sea. Missing them all big time and if I think about them tears come into my eyes in fact as I write this my eyes fill up. We are so lucky we have such lovely children and a wonderful family. Also really miss my grandchildren Freya 4 and Joey 2.
Before I left I wrote a little story book for Freya with photos in explaining about our trip and gave her a calendar to mark off the days. We get back on good Friday so I told her I would buy her a big chocolate bunny for Easter.

Had breakfast then went to meet our new skipper and help move the boat to be refuelled.
There was me Carl Steve and two Chinese crew melondy and Sean. Didn't finish till 3.30 and had a beer met with Matt our watch leader good to know me and Carl on the same watch.
Went for something to eat with Matt good getting to know him sounds like the crew are pretty tight and run the boat well. We are keeping to a three watch system, I had to write it down to understand it. Sounds good though.
Came back to house showered then went out for drinks til late
