Got up at 8am and went down to the marina just in time to see our boat Qingdao arrive. It was so lovely seeing them all especially Sophie. Gave her such a hug and we both cried. The last time I saw her was in London on 30th July when the boats left. She is going around the world.
Helped Jane and Andy with a food shop for the next leg : 8 supermarket trolley loads !!
When I got on the boat to help unload it felt good to be back on board and my nervousness was instantly calmed. I was on this boat for my level 4 training and boat delivery from gosport to London as well as a weeks boat preparation so know it well and feels like home for now. It was a nice feeling and looking forward to getting going.
Back at house a chilled atmosphere as more crew members arrive to Join us.
In the evening around 7pm it gets really noisy with loads of birds ( actually parakeets they look like parrots ) all getting together on the highest palm tree.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere in the house .
