Alarm went 7.30am. We had a boat trip booked. First stop taronga zoo. It was amazing and the best part was the family of gorillas could sit and watch them all day.
Carl really wanted to touch a koala but the closest he got to this was a large teddy bear type one! Saw so many types of animals we wouldn't see in the uk
After the zoo we went to Manly Beach but sadly it poured with rain : some cool shops and had it been better weather am sure we would have spent time on beach.
In the evening went back to darling harbour to meet Phil and Doug and Markus (Carl's old next door neighbours )
After found a nice bar had a couple bottles of red with snacks
A very rainy day but a good one
