When we arrived at Christchurch we checked into our rooms and then decided to go out for a meal, as it was Steve's last night and Katie and I were leaving Sara in the morning, and also because we couldn't be bothered to cook! We went for an Indian and it was so yummy! A very special treat.

The next morning was very sad. Sara was going to Fiji on the way home, so she was staying in Christchurch, and Katie and I were going up to the North Island. So it was time to say goodbye after travelling together around the whole of the South Island. It is one of the only times that I've cried since I've been away, very very sad!

So after the goodbyes it was another long bus journey to Kaikoura for the night, before catching the ferry over to the North Island.
