Hi everyone,

Been in Brisbane a week now staying with Rose's relatives who have kindly offered to put us up for a few weeks while we try and get a job sorted. They live in a very nice house, in Moggill, which is a suburb 16 km to the SW of the city centre. It is a very nice area, practically in the bush with a village type atmosphere.

Haven't seen any of the tourist stuff yet as we flat out job hunting for the whole of last week with no real luck. Have joined a couple of hospitality agencies but we are looking for something more full time. We had a shift with one of them on Sunday at Amiwarra, a music and jazz festival. We were working in the corporate tents. It was the usual scenario, people who should know better drinking to much. The atmosphere was great though, everyone was having a great time and the sun was shining.

Hopefully the job hunting will go better for us this week, fingers crossed.
