Flight Of The Hawks
Bit of a late start after wasting loads of time not being able to book a ferry to Uruguay online. With the help of the 67 bus, made it to the famous Recoleta cemetery - a small town of alleyways between tombs the size of houses or small churches - didn't overly excite us so we never found Evita's spot. Perused the market stalls outside then on to the port to book our escape route from Buenos Aires.
Bus to San Telmo where we checked out the antiques and fruit & veg market. In Plaza Degado watched a tango performance and the locals strut their tango moves. Found a balcony perch overlooking the tango action, where we dined and had our first taste of Quilmes, the most popular Argentinian beer.
