Day 9 - An afternoon of unexpected delights.. Today was up there with one of the best (I do realise I will be saying this a lot throughout the trip!). Day 7 - Lazy Sundays.. Not much to report back on today, we had a typical lazy Sunday. Had a lie in untill about 9 then got up an ready and went to unawatuna beach, had brunch when we got there, we had banana French toast with syrup and creme crèche (curd as they call it) with a lime juice, it was delicious! Day 6 - The miracle of life... Best day so far! Up at 6.30 on a Saturday to be in hospital as the main consultant was there so we had to go and show our face! Turned out to be the best morning we have had in hospital, the consultant spoke to us and introduced us to one of his registrars who taught us for the morning. Day 5 - A Warwick University reunion in Sri Lanka Gave ourselves a day off from hospital today as we have to go in on Saturday morning, nice to not have to set the usual 6.30am alarm!
