The last full day before we were both more or less leaving Shanghai! Christopher headed out to the Shanghai museum, while I spend the day doing laundry and working on this blog!
Besides this I went to the post office to send all the stuff I had bought during the course of the trip back home, so I wouldn't need to carry it with me to Japan and all other countries. Making everything fit in a box was a challenge (especially the tennis-rackets, ask me later), so I spend a nice hour in the office.
Due to the ultra laid-back day, we were full of energy to explore the local night-life, with the goal to avoid the typical touristy places; instead we were looking for the local experience. In our hotel we met a Canadian dude that wanted to join us, so the three of us set out on our quest!
After miserably failing we finally arrived back at the hostel after driving our taxi driver crazy (by changing the directions three times while he was already heading for some place). Luckily, our Canadian companion was determined to find a nice bar, so we set out again, this time in another cab with a written address (thanks to the people in the hostel).
So finally we arived in a nice place filled with tourists, had a couple of beers and enjoyed our evening....
The next day I went to the airport after sleeping in late and wandering around town a bit, to wait for my plane that left for Tokyo early in the morning the next day (or at least was supposed to do so...)
