Our holiday started with Becky deciding to tidy the flat, this must be a woman thing as I have certainly never tidied anything before going away.
After some stressful last minute packing and repacking my mother took us to the airport. We checked in old school at the airport. This actually saved us from a larger queue which worked well.
Becky had worked her magic and got us access to the BA lounge.
Here we sat in the corner relaxing before our flight with drinks and sandwiches. With the toon winning 2-0 at half time I felt safe that we could get on the coach to the plane. Becky had wanted us to get on board earlier but I didn’t see the rush we were all getting on the same plane of course.
The flight was very enjoyable, Becky got some sleep & I caught up on the Punisher.
Arriving into Kos we were swiftly dispatched to our coach transfer to the hotel. At the Hotel we both had a moment of, oh dear what have we done. The place was crowded and the clientele didn’t look very appealing. Thankfully we had been upgraded, & a chap on a golf cart took us to our actual check in.
The room itself was spacious. The only down side is that we appear to be right next to the laundry facility so when out on the balcony it was quite noisy.
By the time we made it to the nearest bar it was 23:45, but we needn’t have panicked as we were the only people there. We were warmly greeted and they stayed open till one to allow us to sit by the pool.
