I finished work at 17:00 & was collected straight away to head up to the airport. Newcastle security was quiet & we zipped straight through to the British Airways lounge. A long lie in was sadly cut short my the hotel testing the fire alarm at 11am. I decided to pop for lunch at Marco Pierre White & Frankie Detori's sports bar next to the hotel. I went for a pizza & a glass of wine which filled the spot quite nicely. I was shown around a couple of bars in the area by Charlotte who had managed to escape work early.
