A long lie in was sadly cut short my the hotel testing the fire alarm at 11am.
I decided to pop for lunch at Marco Pierre White & Frankie Detori's sports bar next to the hotel. I went for a pizza & a glass of wine which filled the spot quite nicely.
I was shown around a couple of bars in the area by Charlotte who had managed to escape work early. I presented her with a bottle of red pig hand wrapped in the finest carrier bag by Keith himself no less. Needless to say this tour resulted in bottles of wine at a time of day most people are starting to think about finishing work. Including a nice bottle of Wairu River. After catching up with her I set off to Holburn to meet up with Caz, Lucy & Amit. It was lovely to see them, but I feel my conversation my have been slightly less than sparkling. Bit like normal then.
I made it back to the hotel just before days end, to get ready for the journey ahead.
