I started the day with a run in the heat. There are no parks nearby, so I ran a few blocks before doing a lap of a cemetery.
I watched a documentary film on hurricane Katrina. The film featured around a black woman who like many could not escape from New Orleans due to not having a car or money. The film features film recorded by herself on camcorder, & details her struggle to stay alive.
I then popped out for a walk for an hour. This allowed me to explore the local area.
The expendables film passed the afternoon before the return of Stephen & Amanda. We headed out to dinner at a Venisualian restaurant. Then we grabbed a beer in a popular queens haunt known as the beer garden.
The subway to take us home was cancelled as someone had jumped on the tracks. This left us with a long walk home, where I downloaded red dwarf.
I feel the sharing of tv shows is part of the cultural exchange.
