Having been joined by Snook through the night, all five of us headed off in the car to go see an abbey. However 20 minutes into the journey I stared to feel unwell & had to get out. I told the guys to continue on & I would walk back. The walk back proved to be much longer than I had anticipated. I walked down the motorway for just over 10k. Thankfully the weather was nice & there was a huge hard shoulder. By the time I returned to the house I was feeling better, & settled on the sofa to watch the conclusion of the open.
When the guys returned Pierce kindly made spaghetti bolognese & we had a quiet night in.
