Sunday was Stefan's birthday, & following a breakfast of bacon & eggs we headed to the beach. We walked along the promenade at Salthill & located the mini golf course. Before returning to the house we stocked up on supplies in Aldi.
We walked 30mins to today's sightseeing adventure, a cruise on the Corrib Princess. This hour & a half cruise took us up the Corrib river & out into loch Corrib. For the first time since we arrived the sun had come out & we found a small beer garden & watched some Gaelic football.
Before heading out for dinner we were able to sit out in the front garden as the nice weather continued.
Stefan had chosen tonight's restaurant based on good reviews online. It certainly didn't disappoint. The food was phenomenal. I opted for a crab started followed by the lobster. The only odd part at the meal was a drunk obnoxious man on another table was kept interrupting us when we first sat down.
We finished off the night at a pub next door that seemed to be a popular tourist pub, but had a nice relaxed atmosphere.
