With no set plans for the morning as we waited for Ellen & Allen to arrive I pottered around in the pool listening to music for about four hours, desperately hoping for a break in the clouds. It threatened at times but it was not forthcoming. We all had sandwiches for lunch outside on what was gearing up for a relaxed slow day.
Once the Henches arrived we spent some time chatting in the living room & booked dinner.
Around 16:30 we began the journey over to Fort Wilderness. This is a Disney camping area where people bring RV's & tents & grab a plot. They do also have cabins. We have stayed here before as well. The last time I was at Fort Wilderness was 1995 for Alan Wilson's 40th birthday. Just as we did that night we attended the Hoop de do revue. This old western style stage show features foot stopping songs and some comedy. All of this takes place while you munch on unlimited fried chicken, corn, beans, mash potato & ribs. It also has unlimited drink too, & as this was my first visit as an adult I indulged in some Sangria. My dad enjoyed the show, have a good song a long. Even Charlotte who hates musicals joined in the playing of the washboard with her spoon at the end.
After dinner we headed out to the deck to watch the sunset over the lake.
