Today we explored Lyon. It was wet and cold because it rained all day. We took a tram up the hill to look at a big church which looked like a castle. We paid a man in the street a couple of Euro's to make us nice hot pancakes that we could eat. We walked everywhere because it was too hard to find a park in Lyon. We left Lyon in the late afternoon for Avignon. We liked Lyon. It's a shame it was wet and cold. Mum had to buy a new umbrella to keep us dry and Dad let lily and I use his waterproof raincoat.
