We went from the cool wet hills of Dalat back onto the coast to the seaside resort of Nha Trang. We almost didn't go because of the awful beach we found at Mui Ne. We were much more impressed with our time here. Nha Trang was very modern compared to other places in Vietnam, it had a number of tall hotels along the beach which reminded us more of Miami. The beach was clean and there were lots of nice restaurants for us to try. 

Apart from a spot of sunbathing and a few walks to different restaurants we didn't do much else but were quite happy with more of that in between the many long coach journeys we'd had to take! 

Worth noting that so far we've discovered that the Vietnamese do most excellent coffee! We've taken to stopping for iced coffee every day as it's a good pick me up and refreshingly cold too. The iced coffees they make are essentially a shot of extremely strong espresso poured into a large glass full of ice. They also use condensed milk to sweeten it so you'll often have a layer of this at the bottom of your glass too to mix in. In general their coffees are pretty strong anyway, yum! We have been missing a good coffee.
