It's day 7 and the final push to complete both the John O'Groats to Lands End section and the U.K. Tour. It's a big day 370 miles approx. Fortunately the forecast is good and the Kevlar jeans are out rather than the waterproof trousers. Day 6 is an early start to try and avoid the Sheffield rush hour. It's already quite warm and the sun is shining when we depart. There are fewer layers of clothing, no need for heated vests or heated grips but every need for sport mode on the bike settings! We head towards the Peak District and Snake Pass.
