We arrived in Rotorua today at 3 am (!!!!!) after leaving Picton yesterday lunch time. We took the 3 hour ferry to Wellington then a 8 hour coach up to Rotorua. This was the worst coach trip if my trip so far. The bus was overcrowded, extremely hot and to top it off I was sat behind a person who clearly does not understand the importance of personal hygiene. Non the less we arrived in Rotorua and hour driver was kind enough to drop us right outside our hostel. We checked in and went to sleep.

3 hours later we were up and having breakfast ready to be collected for our tour of the glow worm and Ruakuri caves. They were amazing! A well worth it trip.

We ventured back to the hostel and had a very very chilled afternoon before heading to bed at 7.30!!!!
