So for the past two days we have been in Nelson. It's a fairly large town on comparison to the areas we have been lately and our hostel is located pretty much in the centre.

Yesterday after a free hostel breakfast we ventured out to do the walk if the centre of New Zealand (not actually the centre). Little did we realise this was all up hill! We arrived at the top very puffed but the views were fantastic.

The afternoon was spend searching for "ubike" to hire some wheels. After two hours of searching using various maps (including their brochure and website) we asked the information kiosk who informed us they has relocated months ago. Feeling a little stooped we finally found their new hideout to find they looked pretty un inviting and no one around. We decided to throw away the bike idea and went to watch Malificent in the cinema instead!

Today we had a leisurely morning before heading out to the shops in search of some denim shorts as mine had broken! I struck gold and managed to get two pairs for $10 (originally $50 each) that's like £2.50 per pair! Pricing must have gone wrong somewhere but I'm not complaining! :D

We grabbed a Starbucks ten headed back to the hostel to watch "Ride Along" before cooking dinner and here I am.

Relatively early start tomorrow as we have an early coach to Picton for our night stop over before Kaikoura
