September 24, 2013 Tuesday Day 80 We headed out this morning from Prince George, BC, a beautiful, very clean city. There is a wonderful community garden right in town. It has raised beds and large planters up throughout the garden. These planters are painted to look like cans of Green Giant vegetables and Campbells Soup. September 23, 2013 Monday Day 79 More rain! Note to travelers, September is a crappy month in the north country. We left Stewart, BC this morning, retracing our steps on the 36 mile long Stewart-Hyder Access Road. September 22, 2013 Sunday Day 78 A peaceful morning, sunny, low 40s, a cool soft breeze blowing. Our campground is so nice, clean, quiet, with gorgeous views of mountains and the lake. September 21, 2013 Saturday Day 77 Cloudy, 47 degrees, little bits of blue sky this morning. We left Watson Lake and headed down the Cassiar Highway, a remote, scenic, 450 mile long road. We chose The Cassiar as a scenic alternative to the more travelled Alaska Highway. For this first section of a few hundred miles, there is no center line, no shoulders, a bit scary.
