September 29, 2013 Sunday Day 85 Sunny, gorgeous blue sky day, high 50s. We left Ely, Minnesota, filled up with gas and proceeded on what we thought was Hwy 1. September 28, 2013 Saturday Day 84 Said good-bye to North Dakota (at Grand Forks) and crossed the Red River into Minnesota (at East Grand Forks). We are still following US Hwy 2. September 27, 2013 Friday Day 83 Had a nice breakfast at the hotel, and left Glasgow, MT around 9:30am. Continued traveling east along the northern part of Montana on Highway 2. September 26, 2013 Thursday Day 82 Today's drive is on US Highway 2 along the southern and eastern border of Glacier National Park, continuing east on 2 through the Rockies and northern Montana. The forests were predominantly Western Larch, Lodgepole Pine, Spruce, Fir, with a few Aspen and Cottonwood scattered about. Colors were just beginning to turn.
