M and H off at crack of dawn to travel to Eton for the Olympic rowing. We were not far behind to walk to Hyde Park for the women's triathlon. Managed glimpses of the swimming. Excellent cycling views and a little of the running. Again lovely atmosphere and crowds of people who applauded everyone.
Walked back by way of the new Bomber Command War Memorial which was busy with very respectful visitors of all nationalities. Lovely written stories, photographs and momentos of individuals and crews have been attached and were being read and carefully replaced in their plastic covers.
M and H had a super day at Dorney Lake despite some heavy rain. Witnessed several medals.
