Off by train to The Burrell Collection. SO interesting and housed in a most unusual modern building. Unfortunately it is a case of design over utility and it will have to close for 18 months to be reroofed. Had a guided tour from a most informed guy. So helpful.
Made our way through the lovely parkland back to the city and had afternoon tea at the Mackintosh designed Willow Tea Rooms on Sochihall Street which are fascinating.
Dinner tonight at Gamba. One of the best restaurants we've been to.
Asked reception if we could move rooms. The rest of the party have to move anyway as they were wrongly put in rooms booked for a wedding reception!!
