Early start again on the bus from Byron Bay.. only an hours drive up to Surfers Paradise. Arrived at 0830 minus the hours time difference. Last day in Byron Bay today. Travelling up to Surfers Paradise in the morning for a few nights and then onto Brisbane where we will hopefully find work. I spent the majority of my last day in Sydney at the cricket. Bought my ticket online in the morning and headed down to the SCG at 2am to watch England take on Australia in a One-Day International. Change of plan.. Spent the last 5 days in the city where it is very expensive and have been viewing apartments to stay in. Found a 3 bedroomed apartment in Bondi 2 minutes walk from the beach but that fell through at the last minute when some friends couldn't afford the deposit.. gutted!
