We're getting closer to that Californian border. We woke to beautiful blue skies and sunshine and today with not much driving we had a 104 mile jet boat trip up the Rogue River and it was AMAZING! The pilot has a dog called Sadie who hasn't missed a boat trip in 9 years, she is an Australian Otter Spotter, the only one in the world apparently!!!
Leaving at noon (as the Yanks call it) we headed inland and the temperatures soared. We were honoured to see black bear, river otters, turtles, bald eagles, deer and many other birds but the highlight had to be an old granny with her shorts around her ankles have a pee on the boat ramp as we came around the corner. I won't post the picture!
We've had a great day, we're all knackered and tomorrow we head across the border into sunny California...
