Day 66 - Mon 29th May - Very late night last night celebrating our Barrier Reef trip, spent the evening giving the girls hand, foot and neck massages in the bar then off to 3 different clubs drinking and dancing until 4am, so grateful to get on the bus after only 2.5 hours sleep to have a nap. Took Ferry to Magnetic Island [named by Captain Cook as it made his compass go funny when he sailed passed!!] Beautiful Island and the Brand new Base Backpackers hostel was the best location right on the beach, with a pool, so fab to jump into. The dorms had 8 bunks a had a direct view of the sea :o) Went on a bush walk and saw my first Koalas including one with a baby. A few drinks and then a relatively early night :o)
