Day 80 - Monday 12th June - Had a very relaxing evening staying at one of the airport hotels, so it makes for a hassle free journey, as it is bank holiday today celebrating the Queen's birthday. I have had such an amazing time in Oz, it is a beautiful country with diverse landscapes and I have loved the friendliness and fun loving nature of the Aussies. Day 79 - Sunday 11th June - Thanks for the text Mike re England winning :o) Last day on Hamilton so up early to have a final sail on the catermarans, then swim in the sea and swim in the pool before breakfast by the mariner. Spent the last few hours driving around in the buggy soaking up every last moment. The sun was out so a great way to end the stay here. 2.5 hour flight back to Sydney.

Day 78 - Sat 10th June - Have been sailing all morning on a Catamaran, reminded me of being in Jamaica :o) It was fantastic to be on my own sailing between the islands in the turquoise sea. I just had to remind myself hoiw to turn without knocking myself out.....had a few close calls, but got the hang of it as the wind started to rise and got some good speed the further out I went. Great way to start the day and thought I would reward myself with full cooked brun...

Day 77 Fri 9th June - Another wonderful lay in until 9am - Obviously had a little too much to drink last night as couldn't find where I parked the buggy last night!!!! Finfally found it & drove for my breakfast smoothie through a downpour. Weather still a bit dodge, so decided to encamp at the Yacht club for cocktails and lunch, then thought it was time for some action..........so charted a helicopter for the most beautiful flight from Hamilton Island out and ov...

Day 76 Thursday June 8th....A lay in at last and then hired a golf buggy which is the preferred mode of transport around the island, so I can go to breakfast at the marina for some lovely fresh juices and smoothes, to make up for the alcohol consumed the night before. Had been watching the cockatoos, paraquets and ravens swooping into the balcony next door and have just heard from the cleaner that they left the door open and now their apartment was in a real mess...
