Day 35 Fri 28th April Up at 7.30 for transfer from Santiago to Santa Cruz deep in the heart of wine country. After 3 hours arrived in the small town and my hotel has a balcony overlooking the main square, which has a fountain and very tall palm trees. Reading through the menu for lunch it said my pizza contained ''a small palm tree'', but it washed down well with half a bottle of local red.
