Hurrah, blog finally set up though still no camera and forgot about bank holiday so can't get one till next week. Will get lots of van photos then to impress you all!

The New Forest was quite nice but a bit of a holiday camp atmosphere and of course with the easter holidays on a few too many kids about for Miranda's liking! The Lake District campsite - the quiet site in Ullswater - was more our cup of tea - great views, nice and quiet and on site bar with very nice beer! - so we'll go back there on the way South again. But the van is cosy and everything seems to be working despite Gordon managing to reverse it into just about everything already, particularly gateposts and walls. We're now in Scotland with Gordon's parents and his Mum has just about calmed down about her gate!

Hopefully we can get a camera tomorrow so we can start putting proper pics on the site - and we'll get some of Gordon on the scooter as the next adventure will be trying to ride it with Miranda on the back - yes, he did pass his test so all forms of transport are now available to us!
