How are you all? I see you're in France now, been to a lot of places since the last time I wrote! Hope the weather is okay and you're both enjoying yourselves.
Hope to see you soon

Really good to see you last night, glad to see G hasn't lost any of the old magic! Back off fella…
If this rain keeps up not sure I'll be at the run tonight - bit fairweather these days.
Bet you're glad you back in old blighty enjoying the Autumn season. At least you're not in the camper van any more - what's it going to be like in Fort Augustus for two weeks eh?

Not sure where you are in France on the assumption you're still not in Italy, but if you can get to the west coast at the southern end, don't miss the Dune du Pyla. Good campsite called Panorama du Pyla.

Hi Guys
Have just sent a message but didn't realise you had to do the sum as it wouldn't recognise it - doh!!! Have been very remiss at keeping up with your travels but what I've seen seems fab, very envious. Life is really good with us, we've recently moved just down the road to a bigger house (as if we need it) plus a shed and 1/2 an acre, all seemed like a good idea at the time. The shed is Ras' for his ride-on lawnmower and outside toys and also one of the bedrooms is now his playroom for his inside toys - funnily enough he's popular with the children around here! Work is going very well, getting more and more clients, which means my midweek golf has gone by the way side, even more of a b***** as just before winter I'd plucked up the courage to graduate to the 18 holers who are serious golfers! We're now into Spring and daylight saving is next weekend so soon we'll be outside having lots of BBQs etc., can't wait - it's been a wet and windy winter but mild. Looking forward to hearing more of your travels and what you plan to do next - have now made a diary note to remind me on a regular basis.
All the best Ras and Ange

Hello you culture vultures. Were the seats cold and hard? Verona is def on our itinararyryryry or whatever and we would like to aim for it next year in our wee van. I must get out holiday journal to you somehow, ref toilet things ie seats, paper and the lack of seats!!! But not all the way round.
Actually if you go into Motorhome Facts web page and find Motorhome Trips you will find it complete with pics, but not toilet pics you will be disappointed to see.
I'll try 8?

Italy has always been my fave country abroad summer or winter, but I've never seen it at the height of the hols. Certainly bad news. Your blog has proved very mirthful on a bleak, cold and dull grey summery day here, so stop bloody moaning OK?
The campsites sound very similar to those we found in Spain, but once again prior to holiday season, but we could easily tell how it would be when they're all on site. No space, crowded pitches, loud stuff etc and probably bambinis running amok.
We hashed at Bullington Cross last night. Not the best place. Very linear, not many paths so it was a good 80/90 minutes out there. Good turn out though and we took over the pub as there was only one man and a dog in there.

Hi you two have been off work for 2 weeks with an extremely bad back so blocked my diary the first day back to catch up on the blog (priorities). Sounds like you are still enjoying yourselves and having a fab time, I know that I would probably have killed Tony by now in such a small environment!! Only seven weeks left at work then out into the unknown have had a few interviews but nothing to report back yet.
Had my last VOE Meeting today (remember those) it was all very civilised free brekkie in the canteen with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, can't say I'll miss them though I'd say morale must be at rock bottom at the mo.
Anyway enough of me moaning more video clips please you must have sorted out the camera by now...... take care J xxxxxxx

Rick Stein did a great prog last night about Puglia and the food. Having had a great Florette meal (aren't they all?) I was damn near hungry again and even fancied one of his veggie jobs too. Must be getting old.
Enjoy what he called a scruffy area of Italy but with super climate and people + food of course. Our friends down there on holiday are staying in one of those trullios or whatever they're called.
You are missing the social event of the year back here. The Chandler's Ford Art Group preview on Sunday night. I am buying extra wine as it seems that lots of hashers are aiming to attend! Last year it was on a Saturday and they were all on the razzle elsewhere.

Well done to you all, despite the poison failing - Perhaps next time, if Portia continues to misbehave? I have just booked for a week in Avignon, travelling by Eurostar all the way, stopping only in Lille for 40 mins, starting at 0709 and arriving at 1446 (French time) so it will take approx 7 hrs. We really look forward to it. On! On! from Big Red.

Sadly, for everyone except me, the Rumanian waitress's attempts to get rid of me have failed. If Rochdale pies can't do it nothing will.
It's all true. Rumours that G&M have gone gypsy are seriously understated. They are living the life of travellers and loving every moment. Good for them. Only problem, when we met up and stayed in a hotel, had to show them how to use the finer things in life again ... like taps and towels!
