Week 2: We have travelled the length and breadth of Britain visiting family and friends - or it feels like that the number of times we've been up and down the A82 anyway!
We've now just finished our second VSO training course on Development which was good but hard work - a bit of a culture shock after not doing any proper work for a while! It was really interesting though certainly brought home how us rich countries are so responsible for the problems in Africa. We're still pretty keen to volunteer so I guess it all works. We met a load more potential volunteers and had a good laugh with all of them so it was pretty encouraging.
We're now on our way up to Barnard Castle in County Durham to stay for two nights before the ferry to Norway. Hopefully this glorious weather will last a bit longer and we can do some walking and cycling up there.
We now have a camera so there are some photos on the photos page though probably only of interest to family for the moment as they were mainly taken with them! As these cameras are pretty flashy things now - more complcated technology! - we have a video as well, so we've got a little through the key-hole expose of our van for all of you who like looking at other peoples houses!
