We were up early to pack and make sure the cottage was ship shape before we left. A trip down to Widemouth Bay and the Bay View Inn for breakfast in preparation for the long journey ahead. Just as well as we were held up in heavy traffic almost all of the way home. What was predicted by sat nav to be a 5 hour journey, turned into a 7 hour ordeal. Once we hit the M6, it was stop-start all the way home. We did manage a slight detour off the motorway then rejoined the nightmare.

We loved Cornwall, there is so much to see and do. The scenery is spectacular and I loved the unspoilt and rugged coastline.
