According to Google Maps, the journey to Bude in Cornwall was going to take 4 and a half hours. Six hours later, we pulled into the beautifully located estate of Kennacott Court. Charlotte and Roger arrived shortly after us with the dog. After unpacking and exploring the extensive grounds and facilities available onsite, we headed off to find somewhere to eat.

Half a mile down the road, we reached the beautiful and unspoilt Widemouth Bay and the Bay View Inn where we enjoyed a superb meal.
