Yesterday I woke up pretty early and started reading my book 'Flora's Lot'. It's pretty good and helps the time pass when the weather isn't great. Jayne and I had brekkie and then walked down to Hillary's Boat Harbour, a gorgeous complex with bar's, restaurants, shops and a great secluded beach area. Great place for a romantic evening meal and some drinks. We then went onto Sorrento Beach for a paddle. I dipped my feet in the Indian Ocean for the first time. yay! We got our jeans all wet but I didn't care, it was a nice sunny day and the sea felt lovely on my feet. Turns out we walked 10km there and back which is great. Good exercise and helps with shifting a few pounds. When we got back I spent some time with Gweneth, Jayne's mum. She is 88 but has great spirit and told me some really intersting stories about herself and her past. Before dinner, Alisha showed me her scrap books of her year of travelling. The photos were amazing... I am definately going to create a scrap book when I get back. Great way to document all those memories. After dinner, Jayne, Alisha and I watched Farmer Find a Wife on tv. Very funny reality show but was nice to just chill in front of the tele for a while. Only smoked 3 ciggys today and I have decided that I want to grow my nails so no biting for me. I even got a tan on my face from all that walking earlier so all in all a good day.
Woke up late today and had brunch (cereal and a banana). I have eaten so well since I have been here and feel really good for it. It's been raining all morning so I think I will have a read of my book and go for a walk to the shops later. Looks like it is going to be a quiet and chilled day for me today but hopefully the weather will pick up tommorrow and I am going to wonder down to the Aquarium to see what that is like. It's meant to be the best one in Oz so I'll let you know.
Lots of Love xxx
