Wahoo I made it to Sydney... finally! Really sad I am not still in Byron Bay though... really loved it there and met some really great people. Last night I ended up chatting to a group of 10 Ozy lads on a yearly boys holiday. They were such a nice group and it was pretty lucky I met them because they might be able to get the girls and I tickets to a Naval Base on Darling Harbour for free. It is a spectacular place for views of the bridge for when the fireworks go off. They are all going to be there as well so it will be nice to catch up with them again and hopefully get some free drinks hehe. We'll see...

My 14 hour bus journey from Byron was horrible but it is over now and no more Greyhound bus journeys around Australia for me. That feels weird in itself. I can't belive I have only got 3 more weeks in Oz. The hostel I am staying at is in a great location and we have a pretty nice room considering we paid average prices for this time of year.

Fiona and Katie are having a nap while Mel and I catch up with bits and bobs on the internet. Mel is popping over from Bondi in an hour and then we are going for a walk through the botanical gardens and then down to darling harbour to watch a Christmas carol concert. 4 days until Xmas and I doesn't feel like Xmas at all. I thought it was time I got into the Xmas spirit and thought that a carol concert might do the trick. I can't believe the one year I go away for Xmas and the chances are that you are going to get a White Christmas... very jealous. Fingers crossed it snows for me next year too hehe.

Right I better go and get ready. I can't wait to see the Opera House and the bridge later. I am going to go and do a tour of the Opera house tomorrow and then pop down to Luna Park. I thought I had a lot of time in Sydney but there is so much to do and see ahhh...
