Arrived in Noosa yesterday around 1pm and immediately fell in love with the place. It's like the South of France but in Australia. It's very family orientated here but also quite an affluent area. The hostel is really nice and the picturesque Noosa river is just at the end of the road. Yesterday Jane and I met up with Dani (from the WhitSundays trip) and we went to do our supermarket shop for the next 4 days. In the afternoon we went for a walk around town and visited the beach where the start of the Noosa Triathlon 3 day event was talking place. We watched the 1000 ocean swim before coming back to hostel for dinner and a drink at the bar. This morning I got a lie in for the first time in weeks getting up at 8.30am! I know some of you will be shocked hearing this because I am never normally up before 11am on a weekend but it is not the same here unfortunately because there is so much to see and do. Today we went for a 7 mile walk around Noosa and the national park where we got the best look out view I have seen so far. Im shattered hehe. This afternoon we got a few accessories for our Halloween outfits and watched the women's triathlon. The athens gold medalist was there which was cool - looks like it is a bigger event then we thought. Tonight we are off to a halloween party - I am going dressed as the wicked witch from the west (very fitting some might say lol), Jane is going as a zombie and Dani is going as a devil. It should be a good night and Im really looking forward to it. We also booked our tickets to Australia zoo for monday - so excited hehe. Hopefully Steve and Ella will be here by then and they can come too.
Lots of Love xxx
