Slept in and grabbed some breakfast across the road from the hotel. Travelled into Umeda to meet up with Makoto and his Wife and kids. We had a tour around the shopping centre at Umeda and the went to a Chinese restaraunt he had booked on the top floor of a high rise. Spectacular view of the area from up there and the food was great. Good to know the old San Choi Bow is on the menu in japan as well. After the meal we headed out to Expo 70 stadium for the Gamba match. Bought our tickets at the gate and they were relly good seats. A crowd of 15 thousand, but sounded more like 30 thousand! Jeez they can make some noise all the singing and chanting only stops for half time. Gamba are having a bad season by their standards but fought out a 1-1 draw against Sendai who are currently leading the comp. Not a bad result. After the match we headed back to Namba and our favourite haunt the Mystery Trip Bar. Sean and I went back to the hotel to grab some jeans as we spent the whole match at Gamba freezing our asses of in shorts! So much colder here this year as compared to last year even though it's the same month. After a quick change we lobbed into the bar and found some of the guy's we had met last year had made the effort to catch up with us. We had a blast as usual. Decided to grab some Ramen on the way home at Ipuddo then hit the sack.
