Lazy day again today. Went for a walk and browsed some shops and basically psyched ourselves up for one last night in Osaka. We decided to work our way around all our favourite haunts and say farewell to all our friends. We started at Bar Soiree moved onto Bar Courage and topped it off with a late night session at Mystery Trip Bar. Makoto remarked that we hadn't done any tourist sight seeing this trip so he suggested a trip to Nara today. We met him and his wife and girls in Namba station and caught the train to Nara. Took about 30 mins. Nara ws once the capitol of Japan in medieval times before it moved to Kyoto and then to Tokyo. The town is nice and the area around the temples is a world heritage site. Woke up early enough for them to clean the room! Showered and left the room, they had a team of crack housekeepers flown in from Tokyo armed with industrial cleaning products and vacuums. Woke up late again....we are turning into bats! We had a sign on our door which basically said if you don't come out of your room during the daylight hours tomorrow we are coming in anyway to clean the room! Decided to sleep most of the day so the boys could get some strength back. No trains or walking today. Seems to have done the trick as they are both a bit better which is great.
