So we have arrived in Paris France. Lovely to see a man holding a sign with my name on it, the pre paid transfer worked a sigh of relieve went over us.
Off to our accommodation a private residence studio apartment owned by a friend of my brother Martin and sister in law Nhu Nhu. Olide was there to meet which was fantastic because I think we are out of our depth.
Quick walk around gave us land marks, the metro, bolangerie patisserie, convenience shop which also stocks beer and wine yeh.
She also gave advice on what to see and where to go.
Olide has now left us she is heading out of Paris to met up with her family three hours south of Paris. She tells us Paris very quiet expect for tourist as most Parians have taken there summer holiday's.
It is 4pm and we have our second or third wind and decide to venture out to get our bearings. We get on the metro and head into Paris Central four stops away and walk until we find the Eiffel Tower.
Now I know we are in Paris.
We take a couple photos avoiding eye contact with the gypsies and Brian takes me by the hand tells me let's head back it's about to piss down rain and he wants to stop at the Eiffel Bistro for a beer!!!
Stop at the bistro sitting out on the street this is what they do there in Paris and down a couple of Heineken beers while it buckets down.
We pick up some supplies a baguette, cheese, ham and a bottle of red wine dinner sorted.
Head back to our accommodation we are so tired now I especially me I have hit the wall no decent sleep for 50 hours (4 hours at the most) has caught up quick shower and off to bed.
