So day 4 in Amsterdam and finally we have the conditions for a good sleep in - late night (morning) and a killer hangover. Another rainy start to the day today, and despite best attempts to have a little bit of a sleep in, by the time 7am rolled around I was wide awake again. A little annoying really. Woke up early again this morning, must've been the fresh enthusiasm to seeing someone in clogs! After breakfast we headed across the city, following the canals, to an Australian pub, as we sort've wanted to watch the Geelong game of footy, and found that they showed it! Woke up early, which sucked given the massive day yesterday. But it gets light really early, and the excitement of seeing people in clogs must've gotten to me, so I was awake! We had a couple of new definitions for excited this morning! After saying our sad goodbyes at home on Wednesday night, we made our way to the airport and got there pretty early. New excited definition 1: The early arrival paid off, we got the emergency exit row all the way to Dubai!
