Thursday and Friday... The main highlights of the last few days was seeing the eagles-ie ones in the picture, staying in really cofy beds in Mandelgovi on Thursday night where it was warm the following morning. Great! Having some Mongolian teenagers show us around part of the town after being up at the lookout point. Two of the girls were so sweet. When we went into a shop to stock up on supplies they bought us each a milkshake in a carton. 'A good mongolian drink'. Was so thoughtful. They were only young, maybe 13 so the money they spent on them must have been pocket money, of which I bet they dont receive a large amount of. Really moved by it! Oh and on the Thursday night Rachel Victoria and I stayed in (while Valerie and Ingrid went back to the bar we went to the last time we were there) with two bottles of wine and chatted. Really nice. An we had a meal at the hotel. So yummy! On the Friday we arrived back in UB about 3pm and I successfully rung my mum to wish her a Happy Birthday :) Im really glad I went on the Gobi trip. Has opened my eyes and my sense of travel even more! Dont want to come home, I dont want this all to end. Im having such a great time. G x
