Thursday and Friday... The main highlights of the last few days was seeing the eagles-ie ones in the picture, staying in really cofy beds in Mandelgovi on Thursday night where it was warm the following morning. Great! Wednesday.... Had quite an eventful morning. Went rock hunting around the gers, found some quite pretty ones. Whe came back fire was lit and as was cold Victoria and I stood around it, minutes later thouh we discovered Victoria had stood a little too close and had melted her trousers! Tuesday... Our day didnt really start until 4.30pm, when we arrived at the ger camp we were going to stay at that night-really nice! After we got our bags in and figured out who was sleeping where we drove off to the sand dunes. Vladimir drove us quite close to the dunes, until he decided enough was enough and was making very concerning sounds. So we decided it was best to walk the rest of the way. Monday... So only after a few hours drive we arrived at Yoyn Am, the canyon with ice in almost all year round. It's part of the massive Nature Reserve down the South Gobi. It wasn't quite what I expected (ie miles deep of ice) but nevertheless it was very beautiful. Rachel, Victoria and I climbed up most of a mountain/hill.
